1. Better express myself
   I sometimes have problems expressing my opinions. In 2011, I plan to tell people how I actually feel instead of wearing a false bravado.
2. Improve my Spanish
   I’ve never been good with foreign languages. However, I see the importance of speaking Spanish in a global market and hope to hablo más español en 2011.
3. Read more novels
   Even though I read for hours each day, on the internet and during school, it’s important for me to expand my vocabulary and expose myself to different writing styles. I’m hoping for one book per month in 2011.
4. Exercise regularly
   I enjoy working out but often overlook it when I’m busy. In 2011, I hope to forge a weekly routine and stick to it regardless of stress and other activities.
5. Double the reach of my online network
   My video network has been online for several years now and I’ve nearly surpassed 10,000 subscribers. Although a lofty goal, I’d like to reach 20,000 by 2012.
6. Blog more often
   This website is sometimes left without an update for 3-4 weeks. I love you to death but sometimes my busy lifestyle puts the blog on the back-burner. In 2011, I plan to update the blog weekly, even if they are only small posts.
7. Picture a day
   I read about this last year but didn’t see the use. Now, however, I think it would be cool to have a short 2-3 minute video year-in-review based solely on my facial expressions.
8. Get a part-time job
   I’ve had a summer job the last few years but I’d like to prepare ye’ old bank account for college next year. Perhaps a job at Apple retail, who knows?
9. Stay focused in college
   Moving on from my previous point, college is a huge step for me and I know it can be extremely easy to loose track of your academics. Don’t get me wrong, I have no plans to be a book worm, but I need to keep my priorities straight.
10. Write a book
    Writing a book, by far the most difficult goal on this list. I’ve been brainstorming ideas for months now, it just comes down to having the time and dedication to get it done.
11. Learn to play guitar
    I am not musically gifted. I know that. I have no expectations to be the next Clapton or Hendrix, but I’d love to be able to play a few songs.
12. Improve the Golf game
    I love the game of Golf. Sadly, the game doesn’t love me in return. I want to hit the course at least once a week during the spring and summer, and plan to take some lessons to improve my swing.

Not the easiest list, but I hope to accomplish at least half of my goals this year. What are your resolutions for 2011?
