Why The Website Was Temporarly Down Yesterday

I’d quickly like to address why Michael Sherlock dot com was offline for around half an hour yesterday. If you happened to load the page during that time you were greeted with an “account suspended” page from my hosting company. No, I wasn’t trying to abandon my audience. There was a little discrepancy between ASO and me that occurred while I was on vacation. Not to worry, the primary reason why I use ASO is because of their A+ customer service. With-in ten minutes of emailing customer support my account was fixed and the website back online.

What hosting company are you using? I doubt they answer support emails in under ten minutes.

I use SquareSpace and even at 5am in the morning, they respond pretty quickly, and durning the day, the email me back within 8-10mins!

That’s great. There is nothing worse than having an issue and not being able to get help. I have a question about SquareSpace: I have heard a lot about it but it seems your limited to the squarespace UI. I mean, do you have access to FTP to upload your own files and create your own site or are you limited to using their WYSIWYG editor?
