XM and Sirius to finally merge

Over a year has passed and finally the department of justice has made their decision. After a”thorough and careful review” the anti-trust division has ruled that the merger will not harm the consumer meaning the merger between these two satellite radio companies would not cause a monopoly. However the $5 billion deal still needs to be approved by the FCC who after several delays is expected to rule similarly to the justice department.
